FFL Transfers to Nor Cal Gun Vault

A lot of folks are trying to get whatever firearms they can in the current environment. This has made managing all the inbound FFL transfers difficult.
Things to remember if you want to purchase a firearm and ship it to Nor Cal Gun Vault:
- Unless the firearm coming as a gift from a direct line family member (father, mother, son, daughter or grandparent, the Alabama family tree), it still MUST BE on the CA Rooster of approved firearms. Please check or ask before you purchase or send. If it is not, we will have to send it back.
- We charge a $100 transfer fee, plus your DROS fee of $37.19 plus you will have to pay CA sales tax, so an invoice from the seller is required, otherwise we will use the MSRP to determine the sales tax. If the seller charged you enough tax, you are free and clear.
- Have the seller's FFL contact us for the necessary paperwork AND make sure they include that paperwork in their shipment. You would not believe how many firearms are showing up no name or contact info for the buyer.
- Please allow at least 48 hours once your shipping indicates we have received it. We have to process it into our firearm book and that is in addition to all the regular shipments plus other FFL transfers coming in. While we understand your excitement to get your paperwork going, we need time to get everything in properly.
- Always a remember, we might be able to save you $100 fee. Check our website or call us and see if we can find it for your first.
